This week's tip is about turning rough glitter polishes into smooth glossy goodness.

I love glitter.  It's my favorite nail polish finish.  What I don't love is how most glitter polishes dry - rough.  Some dry and they're barely sparkly at all.  Others dry to a nice sparkly finish but they feel like a jagged mess to the touch.  There are ways to make them behave though, ways to get them glossy and smooth...

Tip Tuesday

Today's tip is about prepping the surface of the nails before painting them.  <3

Think about what happens when fingers touch glass - they leave behind smudgy prints that are comprised of skin oils.  These skin oils, along with moisturizing products, inevitably get on the nails.  This is a good thing unless you are just about to begin painting your nails.  Oils create a barrier between the surface of the nail and polish which can lead to chipping, poor wear, bubbles, and application problems.

There is an quick, easy way to prep the nail surface right before painting which significantly reduces these oils.

This week's tip is about protecting your hands and nails while cleaning!

Lots of ladies wear rubber gloves to protect their hands while cleaning but after a while hands and nails get damp inside the gloves.  Hands get sweaty and dehydrated.  Nails get soft and weak.  Nail polish wears away at the tips or chips. There is a trick to avoiding all this!
